Michael Ignatieff is an Idiot...this man will impose a carbon tax as soon as people are stupid enough to elect this clown and that tax will be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to taxes...
This guy should never be able to run this country, he must be stopped before he gets elected....His arrogance and entitlement thinking will put every Canadian even worse off financially then we are already. A Liberal is automatically seen as a crooked politician and should not be allowed to control Canada ever again after all the scandals, Provincial or Federal

For someone so educated he sure seems to devote alot of his time to insignificant issues that do not in any way reflect the concerns of everyday Canadians.

I am not surprized Iggy would support Dalton's train to Quebec.
This train will benefit the Quebec work force far more than Ontario's. The train will provide a means for a migrant Franophone workforce to travel to Ontario to take the "Mandatory" bilingual government positions away from English Ontarians.
Over the past few years Dalton has made Ontario communities manditory bilingual while allowing language laws to be enacted throughout Eastern Ontario. It is now illegal in most of Eastern Ontario to put up an English only sign on a store front.
In March of 2009 Iggy was in Embrun Ontario and told the French residents that he supports these language laws and that his Liberal government was there for the French.
Iggy knows he cant win out west so he is doing everything he can to "buy" every French vote he can.So it is not a shock that Iggy loves Dalton's train.

For Michael Ignatieff to say something positive like that about Bill 101 disqualifies him for the job of Prime Minister. Of course, it didn't stop Stephen Harper (who promised not to touch Bill 101) from getting the job...

The language of education provisions of both Bill 101 and section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (based upon and inspired by Bill 101) are both despicable race laws which have no place in free and democratic societies.

Decide for yourself:

Absolutely true, Paul. Most of us remember (those of us who have chosen not to remember notwithstanding) the coalition's attempted blackmail of Harper if he didn't break the bank and spend billions of taxpayers' money on bailouts. Harper even accomodated them, but only to the degree that he felt to be a manageable risk in the event of a loss. In other words, if the coalition had had its way Harper would have spent MORE on bailouts, not less. And they STILL tried to bring him down in a non-confidence vote, and for personal reasons other than the bailouts I might add---- reasons that were not in the best interests of Canadians. Senate reform, for example.

And now the libs are hoping Canadians, with their apparent Attention-Deficit-Disorder mentality will have long forgotten the above-mentioned facts. ("Oh, come ON Harper, that is SO last year!) and vote on the new "facts" as presented by Iggy, Turner and others. Gimme a ******* break.
